The Low Down

Come join a class by yourself, with your friends, or with your family – all available ! Friday Group Surf Classes are available to surfers ages 12 and up. They are offered from June 28th – August 30th at 1:30- 3:00 am Long Beach.  Our weekend group surf classes consist of  a 15-minute land lesson, followed by 75 minutes in the ocean with our instructors.

  • Ratio to surfer and instructor will never be more than 3:1

Please arrive at the Skudin Surf location beach fifteen minutes before your lesson. Each of our locations have a Skudin Surf tent canopy to check in. This will guarantee the time needed to check in, get set up with your equipment and instructors, If you arrive late you will miss part of your class.

A $25 deposit is required for all lessons per person as you register through our online system. Please bring the remaining balance in cash at your scheduled lesson time.

In the event you decide to cancel the $25 deposit per person per lesson will become non-refundable.

We will contact you via email ONLY if we have to cancel lessons due to unsafe conditions in the ocean or heavy thunderstorms and tropical storm conditions. You can also check for alerts through our social media or website.

Anyone taking a class under the age of 18 arrive without a parent or guardian must fill out a waiver prior to the lesson and bring it to the lesson.
