Absolutely! We specialize in teaching all levels from beginner lessons for first timers to coaching for the experienced surfer.

For all camps and private surf lessons the minimum age is 5 years old, and there is no upper age limit. If your child is 4 years old and would like to take a lesson or go to camp please call the office 516-318-3993.

Yes you can, but for adults you should be able to tread water. For kids please let the instructor know if you are not a good swimmer for the younger kids, the yellow group, you will be in the water one on one with an instructor.
You will need gear for a normal beach day- arrive in a bathing suit, bring towel, sunscreen, lunch and a drink to stay hydrated. A board and rashguard are provided for all camps and lessons. If you would like to stay on the beach please bring chairs, umbrella’s and everything you need for a fun day. Chair & umbrella rental is available at our Long Beach location with Beach Comfort Chair and Umbrella rental.
No. We will provide you with any necessary equipment for surfing including a surfboard and a rash guard.

Yes, we always welcome requests for instructors. We cannot guarantee the instructors availability, but we will do our best to make it happen.
This group, like all of our other lessons, is open to all levels of experience!
Enrollment for our Weekend Group Class tends to change week to week. The group can be as small as 2 people, and will max out at 20 people. An average sized class is about 8 -15 people.The instructor student ratio is alway 3:1.
You are welcome to sign up for as many Weekend Group Classes as you want! We offer the weekend group class as an affordable alternative to get the group-surf experience and rate. There is no limit.
Yes. The minimum age for the weekend group class is 15 years old. There is no upper age limit.
We love surfing in the rain! It’s safe as long as there’s no lightning and, let’s face it- you’re already wet. If the conditions do not permit, we will reschedule your lesson or camp day. We will notify you if we have to cancel due to unsafe weather conditions.

If surf conditions are unsafe (ex: strong rip currents, strong winds, high surf advisory) you will be notified via email or phone call as soon as possible. We will always post to our social media sites and update our website with these updates as well.

Lesson deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable, we have assigned an instructor for your lesson prior to your lesson.

Please be sure that the week you book works for you. All camps are subject to a no-cancellation and no-transfer policy which is agreed to upon registration.

Both the Adult and Kids camps are held on the same beach during the same hours, we have two completely separate camps for each adults and kids. If you are coming with your child you can eat lunch together.
We do ask general medical questions on our camp registration form for our records, but it is not required to have a physical to participate in camp.

Four hours straight in the water is a long time and unreasonable for most people. To keep things safe, we split the kids up based on age and rotate them in 30-minute sessions between surfing and beach activities.

We do not offer a payment plan all registrations must be paid in full at time of registration.
No, we do not have any scholarships available for surf camp.
This is not an option. One week of camp is available only for the full week, Monday-Friday. However, we do offer daily registrations.
No, at this time we do not offer a sibling or multiple child discount.
