With no shortage of crazy wipeouts and amazing rides, a global crew of the top big wave surfers battled it out at one of the most prestigious events & waves in the world “Nazaré, Portugal”. home of the HBO Series 100 foot wave.
Only 18 surfers invited globally,Will is the only participant from the USA who competed in this World Stage main event of Surfing. He & his teammate Andrew Cotton (UK) who previously competed in 2021 and finished 7th Overall. . Will Skudin (36) native of Long Beach, NY started surfing big waves 20 years ago but broke onto the big wave surf scene with top ten finishes and overall performance nominations within the last decade. Will and his three brothers are a 3rd generation surf family out of New York and carry on the family tradition of teaching water safety, surfing and swimming at Skudin Surf & Skudin Swim year-round programs. Also, teaching surfing at the new American Dream Mall & indoor water park/wave pool, Skudin Surf at American Dream.
