Absolutely! We specialize in teaching all levels from beginner lessons for first timers to coaching for the experienced surfer.

All registrations must be completed online for privacy and security reasons. If you are having trouble booking, please contact us.

Our full-day and half-day camps are offered as 5-day weeks or single day options.  You can not purchase a week and split it into days.

This is not an option. One week of camp is available only for the full week, Monday-Friday. However, we do offer daily registrations and private lessons.
For all camps and private surf lessons the minimum age is 5 years old, and there is no upper age limit. If your child is 4 years old and would like to take a lesson or go to camp please call the office 516-318-3993.

Yes, you can, but for adults, you should be able to tread water. For kids please have them let the instructor know if they are not a good swimmer. For the younger kids, the yellow group, campers will be in the water one-on-one with an instructor.
You will need gear for a normal beach day- arrive in a bathing suit, bring towel, sunscreen, lunch and a drink to stay hydrated. A board and rashguard are provided for all camps and lessons. If you would like to stay on the beach please bring chairs, umbrella’s and everything you need for a fun day. Chair & umbrella rental is available at our Long Beach location with Beach Comfort Chair and Umbrella rental.
No. We will provide you with any necessary equipment for surfing including a surfboard and a rash guard.
We exclusively use Liquid Shredder Soft-Top Boards. We usually carry 7, 8, and 9 foot boards. We’ve found Liquid Shredder to be the easiest board to learn with, allowing you to nail-down the fundamentals before transitioning to high-performance boards. Half and All-Day Camps: To keep everyone safe, you must use the boards we provide. Lessons and High Performance Camp: You can bring your own board or use one of ours.
Yes, we always welcome requests for instructors. We cannot guarantee the instructors availability, but we will do our best to make it happen.
This group, like all of our other lessons, is open to all levels of experience! However, we do not recommend small children (younger than 10 years old) join this class.
Enrollment for our Group Lessons tends to change week to week. The group can be as small as 2 people, and will max out at 20 people. An average sized class is about 8 -15 people.
Yes. The recommended minimum age for the group class is 14 years old. There is no upper age limit.
We love surfing in the rain! It’s safe as long as there’s no lightning and, let’s face it- you’re already wet. If the conditions do not permit, we will reschedule your lesson or camp day. We will notify you if we have to cancel due to unsafe weather conditions.

If surf conditions are unsafe (ex: strong rip currents, strong winds, high surf advisory) you will be notified via email and/or text (if opted in for text notifications) as soon as possible. We will always post to our social media sites and update our website with these updates as well.

Please see Terms & Conditions for information on Camp Cancellation.

Four hours straight in the water is a long time and unreasonable for most people. To keep things safe (and engaging), we split the kids up based on age and rotate them in 30-minute sessions between surfing and beach activities. Activities are designed to supplement surf education (agility, swimming, balance, etc.).

We do not offer a payment plan all registrations must be paid in full at time of registration.
No, we do not have any scholarships available for surf camp.
No, we do not offer sibling discounts.

We are no longer offering skate camp.  Our Nickerson Beach location has moved to Lido Beach Town Park, (a half of mile west of Nickerson Beach). Camp times are 11:30-3:30.  We are now offering a full day surf camp at Long Beach from 8:30-3:30.
