3. I'm not a good swimmer. Can I still learn how to surf?
Yes you can, but you should be able to tred water.

4. I'm an avid snowboarder. Is surfing really like snowboarding?
Yes, but we think surfing is much more fun!

5. What kinds of clothing should I wear to my lesson?
A bathing suit is all you'll need.

6. Do I need to bring any other equipment or gear to my lesson?
No; just you and the bathing suit will do--don't forget some sunblock as well!

7. What kind of boards do you use?
11-, 10-, 9-, 8-, and 7-foot soft tops.

8. What if it rains while we are surfing?
It's safe as long as there's no lightning and, let's face it, you're already wet. We love surfing in the rain! If in fact the weather does not permit we will reschedule your lesson or camp.

9. Can I cancel my lesson if something comes up?
We'll fully refund your lesson or camp if you provide at least 48 hours notice. There is a fee if you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, because it doesn't leave us enough time to fill your spot. But if you reschedule at the time of cancelation, we'll waive the fee.

10. What if I can't make the whole camp?
We offer lots of flexibility with our one-day camps and private lessons.

11. Can I sign up for more than one camp session? Will I learn anything new?
Some of our students come every week! Like any sport, there's always something new to learn and practice makes perfect.

12. Where are the lessons held at?
A majority of our lessons are given in Lincoln Beach, Long Beach. We also have half-week (Monday - Wednesday) surf camps in Rockaway Beach by 67th Street.
